Zari Challenges Legends of Tomorrow In S3. The latest hero to join Legends of Tomorrow will challenge the team and force Ray to rethink his priorities. After the events of last season, this fall will see the Legends saving time from themselves. While they’ll still be journeying through time and encountering historical figures like Julius Caesar and P. T. Barnum, they’ll also be repairing the damage they caused in the finale. Time itself is in flux, and the Legends will have to make some hard choices to set things right.

Along the way, the team will also have to content with a growing group of supervillains. Captain Cold will be returning in some capacity, along with Vixen villain Kausa. Damien Darhk will also be back, and better than ever. And to top things off, Gorilla Grodd will be joining Legends this season.

But it won’t just be rogues coming to the show. The Legends will pick up hacktavist Zari in a dystopian future, and she’ll force the team to rethink how they operate. CBR heard from Tala Ashe (Zari) and Brandon Routh (Ray) during Comic- Con, and they outlined how the new team member will rock the boat. Straight- laced Ray will be especially affected by Zari’s presence, according to Ashe.“Zari is challenging to all the Legends at first. Ray is a glass half full guy and she struggles with that, because of what she’s seen. I think that they’re also going to bond in that.

Opposites attract in that way.”Given that the show has attempted to pair Ray with nearly every female character on the show, it’s not surprising they’ll attempt the same with Zari. O. While it’s usually small things, the entire first season saw the Legends trying to stop Vandal Savage’s reign. With Zari on board, however, it looks like the Legends will once again try and tweak time for the better. And considering how much damage they did last season, it’s not as if things could go much worse for them.
